Lora Cover

Lora Cover has an extensive and diverse work experience. Lora is currently the Founder and CEO of coLeague, a position they have held since September 2022. Lora is also a School Board Member for the Shaker Heights City School District.

Lora has been involved in the education sector for many years. Lora served as a Board Member for Teach For America from 2017 onwards. Prior to that, they were a Partner at Promise54 from October 2017 to March 2021. Lora also worked as a Principal Consultant at Bellwether Education Partners from August 2016 to September 2017.

Lora has held several leadership roles at Teach For America. Lora was the Chief Talent Officer at the Cleveland Metropolitan School District from December 2013 to August 2016. Before that, they worked for Teach For America as the Interim Senior Vice President and Vice President of Human Assets.

Lora began their career at Teach For America in 2002, initially as a Managing Director and later as the Managing Director of Recruitment. Lora also worked as a Graduate Assistant at Syracuse University.

In addition to their work in education, Lora founded and served as the CEO of Cover Consulting from March 2021 to September 2022. Lora brings a wealth of experience and expertise to their current role as Founder and CEO of coLeague.

Lora Cover obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Labor and Industrial Relations from Cornell University, from 1992 to 1996. Lora later pursued a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in Public Administration from Syracuse University - Maxwell School, from 2001 to 2002.
