Marc Irawan has a diverse work experience starting from 2007. Marc worked as a COLD Project Administrator at Providence Health Care from January 2007 to May 2007. From May 2007 to April 2008, they worked as a Researcher in Forest Product Biotechnology and from May 2008 to May 2009, they worked as a Researcher (NSERC USRA) in the Immunology Laboratory at The University of British Columbia. Marc then joined Providence Health Care again in June 2010 as a Bioinformatics Analyst till April 2011. Marc worked at HSBC as a Testing Automation Engineer from May 2011 to April 2012. From August 2012 to September 2015, they worked at Avanade as a Consultant, focusing on Solution Development and Architecture using Microsoft technologies. Marc then joined PQM Consultants as a Director from September 2015 to October 2019. Following that, Marc co-founded and served as the COO of IQ EDUCATION from July 2019 to July 2020. Currently, they are the Co-Founder and COO of CoLearn since January 2020.
Marc Irawan's education history includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Cell Biology and Genetics Co-op from The University of British Columbia, which they obtained from 2004 to 2009. Marc also pursued a Bachelor of Computer Science degree in Integrated Computer Science at the same university, but the start and end years are unknown. Before attending the university, Marc completed their GCE 'A' Level in Sciences at St. Andrew's Junior College.
In addition to their formal education, Marc has obtained several certifications. In 2015, they received a Gamification certification from Coursera Verified Certificates. In 2014, Marc became a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD) for Sharepoint Application. Marc also completed the MS70-486 Developing ASP.NET MVC4 Web Application certification in 2013 and the MS70-480 Programming in HTML5 with Javascript & CSS3 certification in the same year.
