Michiel Tol has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Michiel began their career as an Intern at Lucent Technologies in 2001, where they worked for seven months. Following this, they joined Tri-ennium as a System Engineer from 2001 to 2003. In 2005, Michiel joined Microsoft as a Commercial Business Analyst and later took on the role of Relationship Marketing Manager, responsible for upper mid-market campaigns. From 2010 to 2018, they served as an Enterprise Marketing Manager at Microsoft. In 2019, Michiel became the Chief Marketing Officer at Colect, a tech company delivering digital sales solutions for various brands. In 2020, they started working at Martech Masters as a Martech Master, focusing on modern marketing and marketing technology.
Michiel Tol obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrotechnology from De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences. Michiel pursued further education at Erasmus University Rotterdam, where they earned a Master's degree in Business Administration (Bedrijfskunde).
