Colectiva Bilingüe or Minneapolis Bilingual Education Collective in English, is a 501c3 nonprofit that works to partner with the families and staff of the Spanish Dual Language program in Minneapolis Public Schools. The five schools that comprise our PK-12th grade bilingual pathway are: Emerson Elementary, Green Central Elementary and Las Estrellas Elementary, Andersen United Middle School and Roosevelt High School. 

We work in partnership with each school through parent and student leadership groups to unite us as a larger community of bilingual learners in pursuit of academic bilingualism, biliteracy and the bilingual seal. 

Colectiva Bilingüe was founded in 2019 to promote and advocate for more equitable Spanish dual language programs in Minneapolis Public Schools through community events, capacity building and the distribution of resources.
