Simão Castro

Simão Castro is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in financial management and reporting. Currently serving as Finance Manager and Finance and Reporting Team Leader at Colep Packaging since July 2021, Simão previously held various roles at Colep from November 2009 to June 2021, including IT Finance and Controlling Specialist and Global Process Owner for Financial & Controlling. Responsibilities included reporting monthly financials to the Board of Directors, coordinating budget processes, and training financial controllers. Earlier experience includes a trainee position at CGD and being a founding member of the human resources department at Aveiro Smart Business. Simão holds a postgraduate degree in Economics and Finances and an undergraduate degree in Economics from Universidade de Aveiro.
