Chamil Jay

Chamil Jay (CJ), Ph.D., is a data scientist and researcher with a robust background in machine learning, mathematical modeling, and statistics. CJ holds a B.Sc. and a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Peradeniya and the University of Melbourne, respectively. They have experience as a Data Scientist at Crown Resorts and as a tech lead at the University of Melbourne, where they led various interdisciplinary projects and developed significant predictive models. Currently, CJ serves as a Senior Data Scientist at Coles Group, providing technical leadership in machine learning and operations research, and boasts over 15 publications and a patent related to content distribution techniques.
