Simon Wing-Tang

Simon Wing-Tang is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in network security and Unix administration. Currently serving as a Network Security Administrator at Coles Group Ltd since June 2006, Simon is responsible for the day-to-day management of network security systems. Previous roles include Senior Unix Administrator at Coles Group Ltd from April 1997 to June 2006, managing various operating systems including HP-UX, Solaris, AIX, and Linux, and overseeing system performance management and SAN configurations. Simon began their career as a Systems Administrator at Telstra, managing multiple operating systems and a national DEC-Net serial network, and also worked as a Technical Instructor at Telecom Australia, specializing in digital communication and telecommunications systems. Simon holds an Associate Diploma in Engineering Electronics from Box Hill TAFE, completed in 1989.
