Sérgio Alves has extensive work experience in the technology and telecommunications industry. Sérgio started their career in 1997 as a Researcher at Adetti and later at Universitat de les Illes Balears. In 2000, they took on the role of Cisco Academy Operational Responsible and Trainer at Universidade Atlântica, where they were responsible for creating and maintaining Cisco Labs and delivering CCNA content to IT students.

In 2004, Sérgio joined Compuquali GFI International as a Pre-Sales specialist in Network and IP Telephony. Sérgio then moved on to ParaRede in 2005, where they worked in Pre-Sales until 2007.
