Michael Meeks is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in open-source software development. As CEO of Collabora Productivity since September 2013, Meeks drives initiatives that support and promote LibreOffice, a significant project within the Collabora Ltd organization where Meeks also holds the title of Christian & Hacker. From September 2010 to February 2022, Meeks served as Director and Founder of The Document Foundation, the parent organization of LibreOffice. Previously, Meeks worked as a Distinguished Engineer at Novell and held positions at Ximian and Quantel. Michael Meeks earned a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Cambridge between 1996 and 2000 and attended Christ's Hospital School from 1988 to 1995.
