Dave Bevan

Dave Bevan has a diverse work experience spanning over 17 years. Dave is currently working at Collabora as the Engineering People Lead Manager, leading a team of open source software engineers across multiple countries and time zones. Prior to this role, they held the position of Engineering People Lead at the same company. Dave also has experience as an Executive Coach at Arcus Coaching and as an Associate Coach and Facilitator at People Untapped. In addition, Dave has a background in public speaking, delivering talks on various topics including early career opportunities and engaging with introverts. Dave has also held leadership roles at Blue Chip, Jagex, and Worldpay, where they contributed to learning and development initiatives, managed teams, and implemented strategies. Dave Bevan began their career as a Customer Service and Projectionist at Cineworld Cinemas Ltd.

Dave Bevan achieved a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Media Studies, specializing in Still Image and New Media, from the University of Lincoln between 2002 and 2005. In 2017, they completed a Level 5 Certificate in Learning and Development from THE CHARTERED INSTITUTE OF PERSONNEL AND DEVELOPMENT. Additionally, Dave obtained several certifications, including the ICF Member Badge from the International Coaching Federation in April 2021, the Insights Discovery Practitioner from Insights in June 2019, the Professional Scrum Master certification from Scrum.org in January 2018, and the Belbin Accreditation from Belbin Team Roles (UK - Head Office) in December 2017.
