Alicia O'Brien

Alicia O'Brien is currently the Head of Business Development & Administration at CollaborateUp, a position held since 2024. They previously worked at George Washington University, where they served in various roles, including Senior Coordinator of Operations, leading significant enhancements in event planning and operational efficiency. O'Brien started their career as a Research Assistant in the Anthropology Department at the Smithsonian Institution, focusing on historical photographs and Native American ethnology. Additionally, O'Brien has extensive project management experience from their time at DAI and Equal Access International, overseeing high-budget international projects and coordinating complex teams. They earned a degree in International Affairs from The George Washington University in 2011.
