Melanie Dixon is a Principal Ecologist with over 25 years of experience in the field, having worked for local government and as a consultant for public and private sector clients. Their expertise includes resource management, with a strong focus on terrestrial, riparian, and wetland ecosystems, particularly in developing practical management solutions. Melanie has contributed to significant projects, including the development of the Wetland Incentives Programme and has represented various organizations at Environment Court and Boards of Enquiry. They hold a BSc in Ecology and Botany and a Diploma in Environmental Management from the University of Auckland. Currently, Melanie is engaged as a Principal Ecologist at Collaborations.
