Dr. Aimée Classen is a Professor in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Michigan, where they have served as Director of the University of Michigan Biological Station (UMBS) since 2020. In this role, they lead a 13,000-acre campus dedicated to research and education, successfully securing $17 million for infrastructure enhancements and developing the station's inaugural strategic plan.
