Partner at Collaborative Fund

Jay Kim is currently a partner at Collaborative Fund. Prior to this, they were the director of product management at Fund That Flip, Inc., where they were responsible for creating and owning the product vision, building execution roadmaps, and planning and driving product innovation efforts for users in strong collaboration with the executive team, business, and engineering leadership stakeholders. Jay also led the digital transformation of work processes and managed and built a team of product managers.

Before that, they were the product owner for data integration at Orion Advisor Tech, where they joined HiddenLevers, a B2B fintech company that provides financial portfolio analytics and stress testing product for RIAs. At Orion, they led the integration efforts through API between HL and Orion platforms per acquisition agreements from HL side. Jay was also responsible for building product roadmaps, defining and refining epics, features, user stories, planning sprints, and leading all aspects of agile software development projects in collaboration with engineering teams. In addition, they performed hands-on Quality Assurance testing on API using Postman, UI, and Linux. Jay also wrote custom testing automations using javascript and Puppeteer.

Jay Kim pursued a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature at Yonsei University. After graduation, they obtained certification from the CFA Institute in CFA.
