Alexander Soare

Alexander Soare is an experienced AI Research Engineer at Cobot - Collaborative Robotics, Inc. since January 2025, focusing on embodied AI in an agile research environment. Prior roles include serving as Artificial Intelligence for Robotics at Hugging Face and Director of Artificial Intelligence at Dextrous Robotics, where Alexander crafted strategy for perception, led project management, and guided a perception team. As a Senior Perception Engineer at Dextrous Robotics, responsibilities included designing perception software, data collection, and R&D. Alexander also held positions as Technical Advisor for Computer Vision & Machine Learning at Stamp Free Limited and as a Machine Learning Consultant at NielsenIQ Brandbank, where automation in digitalization pipelines was designed. Academic credentials include a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor of Science (Advanced) HONS in Quantum Physics from the University of Sydney.
