Greg Sparrow

Greg Sparrow has a diverse and extensive work experience. Greg started their career as a Junior Programmer at LTR in 2007 and then moved on to work as a Mobile Software Developer at Warelex LLC in 2007-2008. Greg returned to LTR as a Senior Software Developer from 2009 to 2011. After that, they worked as a Web Programmer at Stickler from 2008-2009. In 2011, they joined Memorial University of Newfoundland as a PhD student, where they specialized in Swarm Intelligence and Artificial Social Intelligence. Greg also assisted professors in evaluating student assignments. In 2013, they joined Gryphtech as a Senior Developer, where they developed new modules for a public-facing website and mentored junior developers. Greg then became a System Architect at Gryphtech from 2015-2016. In 2016, they co-founded Shiny Barnacle, where they served as a Co-Founder and Lead Software Engineer, responsible for building and maintaining a multi-site platform running two marketplace websites. In the same year, they also joined Collage HR as a Lead Software Engineer, where they successfully led the development of an all-in-one HR and benefits platform. The company was later acquired in 2019.

Greg Sparrow completed their Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Dubna in 2010. Prior to that, they pursued Computer Science at Memorial University of Newfoundland from 2011 to 2014.
