Luis Vera

Luis Vera is a Senior Manager with extensive experience in multinational mining and specialized services companies, including Collahuasi, Los Pelambres, Dyno Nobel, and ENAEX. They have held roles of increasing responsibility, such as Mine Manager and Technical and Project Manager, specializing in Drilling and Blasting processes, Mine Operations, and Service Contract Management in open-pit and underground mining. Currently, Luis serves as the Superintendent of Process Management and VP of Mine at Compañía Minera Doña Inés de Collahuasi SCM. They have implemented operational excellence projects and safety standards, leading culture change in safety and cost management, and have also taught Explosive Handling at Universidad Arturo Pratt.
