Janis Foo

Janis Foo is the current General Counsel at Collective[i].

Janis started her legal career at Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton LLP. Since 2018, Janis has led Collective[i]'s legal and people ops teams.

Janis Foo graduated from The Hamlin School and San Francisco University High School and then attended Brown University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in History, graduating magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa and with departmental honors. Janis obtained her JD from Yale Law School.

Janis Foo reports to Tad Martin, Co-founder & CEO. She is on the executive team with Heidi Messer, Co-founder & Chairperson, Stephen Messer, Co-founder & Vice Chairperson, and Bodie Gagnon, Chief Financial Officer.
