Gemma Jerez

Gemma Jerez M.A. is a Student Support Specialist at the College Internship Program, where support is provided to young adults in developing life skills and achieving academic success since October 2020. Previous roles include serving as an Academic Advisor at CareerVillage.org, a Special Education Assistant at Riverview Middle School, and an Academic Coach at Saint Mary's College of California, where student support encompassed academic advising and personal counseling. Additional experience includes creating curriculum and teaching at Los Medanos College as a Summer Bridge Intern, and assisting new students as an orientation leader and English tutor. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Counseling: College Student Services from Saint Mary's College of California and various training certifications.
