Ben Shepherd

Ben Shepherd is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the construction industry, currently serving as the Preconstruction Director at Collen Construction since January 2018. In this role, Ben has been instrumental in the development and management of hyperscale data centre projects across Ireland and Europe, overseeing design and preconstruction efforts while leading a team of Design Managers and Design Coordinators. Prior to this position, Ben held significant roles at Laing O'Rourke from January 2012 to December 2017, including Head of Work Winning BIM Digital Engineering and Senior Construction Process Engineer BIM, and worked as a Project Architect at John Halligan Architects from January 1998 to January 2012. Ben holds a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from Trinity College Dublin and furthered education at Technological University Dublin.
