Christopher Channing

Christopher Channing is a distinguished software engineer with extensive experience in engineering leadership and technical innovation. Currently serving as a Distinguished Software Engineer at Collibra since September 2025, Christopher is a former Principal Engineer at Kurrent, where Christopher was the technical lead for the Cloud Platform. Previously, Christopher held a variety of roles at Collibra, contributing significantly to cross-company technical strategy and leading the development of pioneering technologies. At Cloudera, Christopher was a core team member of the Chief Data Office and played a vital role in developing machine learning models to support sales initiatives. Throughout the career, Christopher has garnered numerous awards for technical accomplishments and has a solid educational foundation in software engineering and machine learning, holding degrees from Solent University and Udacity.
