John Gibson

John Gibson, PLS, has a diverse work experience in the field of surveying and geospatial engineering. John currently serves as the Principal Associate, Regional Director of Survey/Geospatial at Colliers Engineering & Design. Prior to this, they worked as the Geographic Discipline Leader at Maser Consulting from 2018 to 2021.

John also held the position of Survey Practice Lead at Wade Trim from 2014 to 2018, where they were responsible for business development, sales, operations, and staff management. John also mentored survey personnel in multiple office locations and focused on business development in the Oil and Gas and Energy markets.

Before joining Wade Trim, John worked at Dewberry as a Senior Survey Manager/Assistant BU Manager from 2007 to 2014. John served as the Vice President of Field Operations at Advantage Civil Engineering from 1995 to 2007. John started their career as a Field Supervisor/Crew Chief at Progresive AEP in 1994 and later worked as a Survey Project Manager at Boss Engineering from 1993 to 1994.

John's early experience includes working as a Party Chief/Field Coordinator at Progressive AEP from 1989 to 1993. Throughout their career, they have gained extensive knowledge and expertise in surveying and has held various leadership roles.
