John Rovetto

John Rovetto is an experienced professional in search and rescue, currently holding the position of SARTech I with the National Association for Search and Rescue since September 2013, and serving as the SARTECH 2 Lead Evaluator. In addition to his role at NASAR, John is a Utilities Project Coordinator at Colliers Engineering & Design since February 2021 and has been a Senior Nordic Patroller and Regional Mountain Travel and Rescue advisor for the NJ Region of the National Ski Patrol since 2003. Previous experience includes utility project coordination roles at Maser Consulting and Colliers Engineering and Design, along with significant contributions to New Jersey Search and Rescue as a Training Officer. John's early career features leadership positions including Chief CADD Operator at Wentink & Assoc and Owner/CADD Consultant at Summit View Design, Inc. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Management from Saint Elizabeth University and a Bachelor's degree in Natural Resource Management from Rutgers University.
