Ray Payne

Ray Payne has extensive experience in the surveying and geographical disciplines, currently serving as the Geographical Discipline Leader at Colliers Engineering & Design since June 2019. Prior to this role, Ray held significant positions including GPS and Survey Director for the Heavy Civil Construction Division at Wood and Survey and GPS Director at Kelchner Excavating, both from March 2008 to June 2019. Ray's earlier career included roles as Project Surveyor at CESO, INC. and at McDougall Marsh and Chico, LLC, along with Project Surveyor positions at John R. Jurgensen Co. and McDougall Associates. Ray began his career as a Survey Technician and Instrument Operator at Lockwood, Jones and Beals from August 1987 to March 1991, building a solid foundation in surveying practices over more than three decades.
