Tom Maier

Tom Maier is a seasoned professional in the field of wildlife biology and water resources, currently serving as a Water Resources Specialist (Fish & Wildlife Biologist) at Colliers Engineering & Design since September 2023. Previously, Tom held the position of Senior Staff Consultant (Biologist - Water Resources) at Bergmann, where assistance was provided for the USACE Planning Assistance to States Study related to the Bangert Island Flood Risk and Riverfront Transformation Project. Tom's extensive experience includes a role as a Biologist/Planner with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, focusing on civil works projects, and as a Wildlife Biologist with the U.S. Forest Service, where fish and wildlife studies were conducted to assess forest management impacts. Tom holds a Master’s degree in Wildlife & Fisheries Conservation from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology/Environmental Studies from St. Cloud State University in Minnesota.
