Tom Mitchell

Tom Mitchell has over 40 years of experience in engineering and architecture, specializing in capital project management across various sectors, including commercial and manufacturing. Currently, they serve as a Senior Consultant at Colliers Engineering & Design and are a Board Member for both the New York State Board of Professional Engineers and the Rochester Area Community Foundation. Previously, Tom held executive roles, including CEO and Executive Vice President at Bergmann Associates, where they led a large team and implemented a customer-centric business model. Tom co-founded the Exploring Racism Group and contributed to the governance of the Rochester Museum and Science Center as Past Chair of the Board of Trustees. They received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Clarkson University.
