David Cortez

David Cortez is currently the Vice President at Colliers Mortgage in Houston, where they are responsible for the origination of debt and equity assignments for multifamily and commercial properties across the U.S. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, they have successfully closed more than $5.0 billion in transactions. David previously held the position of Vice President in Real Estate Investment Banking at Jones Lang LaSalle and has worked as a Senior Analyst at both Grandbridge Real Estate Capital and Live Oak Capital. They began their career as an Analyst at The Situs Companies and are fluent in Spanish, holding a Texas Real Estate Salesperson license. David is currently pursuing a B.A. in Finance at the University of Houston.
