John May

John May is a risk management and insurance professional with a wealth of experience in enterprise, corporate, and operational risk management, as well as claims and insurance management. Currently, John serves as the Director of Risk Management at Colliers since 2025, following a tenure as Director of Risk Management and Insurance at Morguard Investments Limited from 2005 to 2022. John also held the position of Director of Risk Management at Triovest from 2024 to 2025. Educated with an Executive MBA and an MBA specializing in Business, Insurance, and Risk Management, John has been recognized for excellence in workplace safety, being honored as one of Canada's Safest Employers for eight consecutive years from 2013 to 2021.
