Michael Young

Michael Young has extensive experience in facilities management and operations, currently serving as a Property Manager at Colliers since February 2022. Previously, from February 2016 to November 2021, Michael held the position of Facilities Operations Manager at Michaels Stores, where responsibilities included developing a cohesive Facilities Maintenance Department and managing substantial OPEX and CAPEX budgets. Prior experience includes serving as Facilities Manager at Darice, Inc. from 2011 to 2016, overseeing operations for extensive facility locations, and managing a team of maintenance technicians and housekeeping staff. Michael's career began at SPX, Inc., where from 1990 to 2011, Michael operated a service company focusing on emergency repair and maintenance for a wide range of industrial and retail clients across multiple states. Michael attended Kent State University from 1989 to 1991.
