J. E. Surash

J. E. "Jack" Surash, SES, P.E. (Retired), is a former Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Energy & Sustainability with extensive experience in energy and sustainability management. Currently, they serve on the Resilient Energy Systems Mission Campaign External Advisory Board at Sandia National Laboratories and hold roles as Principal at The Surash Group LLC and Senior Energy Consultant at Collins Consulting, Inc. They previously held various leadership positions within the U.S. Department of Energy and the US Army, contributing significantly to infrastructure, energy, and environmental policy. Jack earned an Executive Certificate in Management and Leadership from the MIT Sloan School of Management and participated in the Advanced Management Program at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.
