Luke O'Doherty has extensive experience in various technical roles. Luke began their career as a Developer at LIberty IT in 1998 before moving on to Think Software as a Senior Developer. Luke then worked as a Senior Developer at PBL Media and Fairfax Digital. In 2008, they were a Contract Developer at Carlson Marketing Group and The Farm Digital. In 2009, they became a Technical Lead at Euro RSCG Sydney and later a Technical Director at Havas Worldwide Sydney. From 2013 to 2015, Luke served as a System Architect and Technical Manager at Collinson Insurance Group. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Engineering at Collinson, where they manage multiple cross-site development teams and oversees the transition from monolith to cross-platform and cloud-based deployments.
Luke O'Doherty completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from Queen's University Belfast from 1992 to 1997. Luke then pursued a part-time Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Practices in Software Engineering at Ulster University from 1997 to 2000. Additionally, they obtained another degree in Information and Communication Technology from Queen's University Belfast during the same time period.
