Markk Tong has had a varied career in marketing and media. In 2021, they began working as a Senior Marketing Specialist at Collov Home Design, where they developed, implemented, and managed marketing strategies. Markk also worked as a Marketing Specialist at RebatesMe, where they acquired new users for the official website and WeChat group with multiple marketing channels. In 2020, they worked as a WeChat Marketing Internship at The Corcoran Group, where they wrote, edited, and published content regarding NYC's high-end real estate on the WeChat platform. In 2019, they were the Director of New Media at X-Path Education, where they managed social media strategies across channels and wrote, designed, and typeset daily articles in the WeChat platform. In 2018, they founded and operated Miami Kouchi, a social media platform that explored different food and culture in Florida. In the same year, they also began working as a Social Media Coordinator at GROUNDPLANS LTD. In 2016, they were a Co-Founder at Global BB Show, a short-video-based We media with over 2M followers in multiple media platforms, and a WeChat Marketing Internship at Keller Williams Real Estate, where they facilitated day-to-day operations for a Keller Williams Real Estate broker.
Markk Tong has a diverse educational background. Markk attended Shanghai No.54 High School from 2010 to 2013, where they earned their High School Diploma. Markk then attended Ross School from 2014 to 2017. After that, they attended the University of Miami from 2017 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Media. Finally, they are currently attending the NYU Tandon School of Engineering, where they are pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Integrated Digital Media.
