Ofer Levy

Ofer Levy is currently an advisor at CollPlant. Ofer was previously an R&D engineer at LifeBond Ltd. from March 2017 to November 2018. Ofer is experienced in developing, conducting and analyzing experiments for R&D purposes, and is proficient in mechanical and analytical methods for polymers characterization. Ofer has also participated as a technical representative in surgical procedures.

From October 2013 to December 2017, Ofer was an instructor at the Unit for Science Oriented Youth, where they showed students the magic of science.

From September 2013 to August 2014, Ofer was a undergraduate research assistant at the Prof. Marcelle Machluf's laboratory at the faculty of Biotechnology and Food Engineering. There they contributed to a research project that focused on the optimization of mesenchymal stem cell encapsulation in microcapsules based on pancreatic ECM.

Ofer Levy has a Bachelor of Engineering in Biochemical Engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, a Master of Science in Biotechnology from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, and an Advanced Course in Downstream Processing from Delft University of Technology.
