James Black

James Black has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Starting in 1998, they worked as a Facilities Engineer, Switch Technician, and Network & CPE Technician at Hyperion Communications/Adelphia Business Solutions. James then moved on to PPL Telcom in 2002, where they served as a Sr. Field Service Specialist. From 2002 to 2015, James held various positions at Zayo Group, including Regional Field Manager and Director - Field Operations. In 2016, they worked as a Project Manager at Intranet Communications Group. James joined CenturyLink in 2017 as a Central Office Technician. From 2018 to 2020, they served as a Lead Data Center Technician at Cologix, Inc. and then transitioned to the role of Manager Columbus Operations. Most recently, James became the Director of Ashburn Operations at Cologix, Inc. in 2022.

James Black has a diverse education history. James attended CDFOM and DCCA but did not receive any degrees or specify a field of study. In 1992, they completed their education at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, but again did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study.
