Robert Johnston

Robert Johnston has held various leadership roles in the telecommunications industry. Robert started their career at Level 3 Communications in 1999, where they built and developed the Government Operations team and managed large government projects. In 2006, they became the VP of Network Operations, overseeing network management for transport, IP, and voice services. Robert then joined Zayo Group in 2009, serving as the VP of Network Operations/Service Activation and later the SVP of Operations. At Zayo, they were responsible for field operations, fleet management, asset management, and real estate. Robert also held executive positions in longhaul dark fiber and security and IT operations. In 2017, Johnston joined Introspective Networks as a Business Development professional before moving to their current role as the SVP of Data Center Operations at Cologix, Inc.

Robert Johnston has studied computer software engineering at Arizona State University. Robert has also attended the University of Colorado Denver, Front Range Community College, and Central Texas College, although the degree names and fields of study are unspecified.
