Brian Sullivan

Brian Sullivan is the Chief Financial Officer at Colonial Surety Company, overseeing financial strategies since 2025. Previously, they held various roles in audit management at Grant Thornton LLP from 2016 to 2020, displaying expertise in insurance and financial reporting. Brian contributed to the Suffolk University Business School Board of Directors from 2016 to 2018, where they helped establish the Board’s first scholarship fund. Their early career included positions as an Equity Trader at GENESIS INVESTMENTS, L.L.C. and a Quality Assurance Specialist at Copanion, Inc. Brian holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from Suffolk University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Connecticut.
