Matthias Albold

Matthias Albold is a Lead User Experience Researcher at Coloplast, where responsibilities include overseeing research initiatives and insights since August 2020. Albold has also served as Interim Head of Research and Insights and as a Senior User Experience Researcher within the same department. Previous experience includes a role as a User Experience Researcher at CODE University of Applied Sciences, where Albold was a Guest Lecturer for Design Research from 2019 to 2021. Prior positions include Product Designer and Design Researcher at SinnerSchrader, and involvement in a refugee support project as a Pedagogue and Social Designer with Pädiko Verein für pädagogische Initiativen u. Kommunikation. Albold began a career in social support, working various roles in pedagogy and inclusion-focused projects from 2008 to 2015, including a role as a Research Assistant in Social-Pedagogy at Universität Erfurt. Education includes a Master of Arts in Interface Design from Muthesius Academy of Art and Design Kiel and a Bachelor of Arts in Special Education & Fine Arts from Universität Erfurt.
