Nick Baumann

Nick Baumann is an accomplished legal and engineering professional with extensive experience in intellectual property law and technology. Currently serving as Senior Intellectual Property Counsel and previously as Senior Patent Counsel at Coloplast since May 2009, Baumann has a solid foundation in patent law developed during an earlier tenure as an Associate at Dicke, Billig & Czaja, PLLC. Prior to legal practice, Baumann accrued significant industry experience at 3M from 1989 to 2002 in various engineering roles, including Research Specialist and Senior Engineer, and began a research career as an Undergrad Research Opportunity Scholar at the University of Minnesota. Baumann earned a Juris Doctor degree in Intellectual Property law from Mitchell Hamline School of Law and holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics from the University of Minnesota.
