Peter Herskind

Peter Herskind is a seasoned professional in the fields of life sciences and medical device innovation, currently serving as the Chair of the Committee for Grand Solutions at Innovationsfonden since January 2023, focusing on health and welfare technology. Previously, Peter held various leadership positions at Novo Nordisk from December 2012 to August 2022, including Director of Alternative Delivery Technology with a focus on orally ingestible medical devices. Peter also contributes as a Vice President of Product Design & Engineering at Coloplast since August 2022. With a robust academic background, including a PhD in Physics from Aarhus University and an Executive Certificate in Management and Leadership from MIT Sloan School of Management, Peter's research experience encompasses advanced fields such as atomic physics and quantum information science, linked to roles at MIT and Esko Graphics.
