Abey Thomas

Abey Thomas has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Abey started their career as a Business Development Executive at Ranny Info Tech Pvt. Ltd. in 2008. Abey then worked as a Product Manager at Ranbaxy from 2009 to 2012. At Allergan, Abey served as a Senior Product Manager and handled the anti-glaucoma portfolio from 2012 to 2014. Abey joined Medlife.com in 2014 as the Head of Brand Marketing, where they were responsible for all branding activities. Abey then moved to Natural Remedies Private Limited in 2016 and held the positions of Senior Manager Marketing and subsequently, Head of Global Marketing- Human Health. Abey was responsible for setting up the marketing department, executing marketing strategies, and finalizing marketing budgets aligned with business goals. Abey is currently the Market Development Director at Colorcon®, starting in 2023.

Abey Thomas has a diverse education history that spans multiple fields and levels of study. In 1998, Abey Thomas obtained a Pre-Degree in Health Services/Allied Health/Health Sciences from St. Berchmans College, MG University. This was followed by a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Calicut, completed between 2002 and 2007. In 2007 and 2008, Abey Thomas pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Pharmaceutical Marketing and Management at the Institute of Pharmaceutical & Healthcare Management and Research(IPHMR). Recently, in 2021, Abey Thomas completed a Postgraduate Degree in Organizational Leadership from Emeritus.

In addition to these formal degrees, Abey Thomas has also obtained various certifications. These include certifications in areas such as executive leadership, B2B go-to-market strategy, sales process, leadership visibility, leadership influence, measuring marketing effectiveness, brand management, modern marketing, and digital marketing. These certifications were obtained from institutions such as LinkedIn, Project Management Institute, London Business School, Udemy, Simplilearn, and the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, with completion dates ranging from 2014 to 2023.
