Prashant Thakker

Prashant Thakker has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Prashant began their career in 1996 as an Officer in Formulation Development at Cipla, Ltd. There, they conducted literature surveys, evaluated patents, and compiled research for product development. In 2000, they moved on to Sandoz Development Center as an Executive in Formulation Development. In this role, they managed generic formulation projects at various stages of development.

After four years at Sandoz, Prashant joined Colorcon® in 2004 as a Principle Area Technical Manager. Their responsibilities included providing technical assistance to the marketing team and promoting Colorcon products and services. Prashant held this position for over a decade, until December 2017.

In 2018, Prashant transitioned to Abbott, India as a Senior Manager in Technology Transfer. This role involved overseeing the transfer of technology to new products and processes. Later that year, they returned to Colorcon® to work as a Formulation Technology Manager. Prashant's work experience showcases their expertise in formulation development, technical assistance, technology transfer, and project management.

Prashant Thakker completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from the Institute of Pharmacy, Pusad between 1989 and 1993. Prashant then pursued further studies and obtained a Master's degree in Pharmacy with a specialization in Pharmacology from the College of Pharmacy, Belgaum (Karnataka) from 1993 to 1995.
