Simon Tasker

Simon Tasker is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Chief Executive Officer of Colorcon® since October 1996. Tasker has held various leadership roles, including President of the Americas Region, Vice President of Business Development, and Managing Director for North East and South East Asia. A strong strategist, Tasker has successfully developed and executed a multi-year global growth plan and has a proven track record in driving significant revenue increases through strategic partnerships and business development initiatives. Tasker's technical expertise is underscored by experience as General Manager and Director of Sales, where Simon led teams in optimizing operations and enhancing product offerings. Earlier career highlights include being a key contributor to a global ERP implementation project and conducting pioneering research as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Nottingham, backed by a PhD in Chemistry from Durham University.
