Kara began their career as an Account Coordinator at Pacific Communications, where they worked with clients in the beauty and pharmaceutical industries. Kara was promoted to Associate Account Executive and then Account Executive over the course of their three years at the company.
In 2011, Kara left Pacific Communications to join Scout Marketing as a Senior Account Executive. Kara was promoted to Sr. Account Supervisor after just one year at the company. Kara worked at Scout Marketing for six years before joining Colorescience in 2018.
At Colorescience, Kara is responsible for developing and executing marketing plans for new and existing products. Kara also manages a team of product managers and works closely with sales, operations, and product development to ensure that Colorescience’s products are successful in the market.
Kara Lara has a BA in Theirtory and Spanish from Loyola Marymount University and a Certificate in Marketing, Advertising, and Sales from Orange Coast College.
