Steve Loomis

Steve Loomis is the current Chief Financial & Operating Officer at Colorescience. Prior to their current position, they served as the SVP Chief Financial Officer at SkinMedica from May 2010 to May 2013. Steve was responsible for all aspects of the accounting and finance functions, investor relations, valuation, internal controls, legal and information technology.

During their time at SkinMedica, the company rapidly grew and became the fastest growing company in the aesthetics and cosmetic market sectors. The company was acquired by Allergan in December 2012 for $400M. Loomis played a key role in the success of the company and was integral in implementing financial and operational controls which improved accuracy and predictability of financial results, interdepartmental communication, process documentation, MRP implementation and reduced the financial close from 30 days to seven. Steve also negotiated the purchase & leaseback of 81,000 sq ft. Corporate headquarters and drove cost saving initiatives that resulted in over $1M of documented savings in initial nine months with the company.

Steve Loomis graduated from Buena High School with a HS Diploma in General College Prep. Steve then attended California State University, Northridge and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and MIS. Steve is also certified as a Certified Public Accountant from the State Board of Accountancy.
