Adrian Butt

Adrian Butt is currently a Regulatory Affairs Officer at Colorifix. Prior to this, they were the Head of Smart Grid Regulation at the Department of Energy and Climate Change from February 2008 to January 2015. Adrian was also the Head of Biotechnology Issues at the Department of Trade and Industry from January 2002 to January 2008. From March 1996 to January 2001, they were the Head of GMO Regulation Unit at the Department of Environment Food and Rural Affairs.

Adrian Butt received a Bachelor of Science in Botany from the University of Manchester. Adrian then went on to earn a Master of Science in Genetics from the University of Birmingham. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy in Molecular Biology at the University of Nottingham.
