Will Sweeney

Will Sweeney is an accomplished filmmaker with extensive experience in the film industry. Currently serving as a filmmaker at BOB Films LLC since May 2011, Will co-created the award-winning HBO documentary "Back on Board: Greg Louganis." Sweeney has also been a filmmaker and partner at BB Optics, Inc since May 2003, specializing in film preservation and post-production services. As the founder and board member of the Jackson Heights Green Alliance from January 2007 to January 2013, Sweeney contributed to community development projects like the 78th Street Play Street and Diversity Plaza. In the political arena, Sweeney coordinated volunteer efforts for Obama for America during the 2008 election cycle. Earlier career highlights include producing "The Royal Tenenbaums" at The Walt Disney Company and working in film production and story development for Miramax Films on notable projects such as "The Cider House Rules." Will holds a degree in Film & Television Production from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University.
