Beimnet Hailu

Beimnet Hailu is a design and engineering student at Santa Clara University, majoring in Web Design and Engineering with a minor in Computer Science. As a first-generation college student, they have actively engaged in various roles, including being a LEAD Scholar, a Campus Engagement Ambassador for the Miller Center for Global Impact, and a participant in Girls Who Code. Beimnet's experience includes externships that combine product design, software development, and data analytics, with a focus on technology that uplifts communities. They currently serve as a fellow at ColorStack and as an event coordinator for the Eritrean Ethiopian Student Association while continuing to expand their technical skills. Outside of academic pursuits, Beimnet enjoys mentoring peers and participating in outdoor activities.
