Dave Siméon is a designer, technologist, and storyteller currently studying Computer Science and Textiles & Fashion Design at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. They have explored the intersection of fashion and technology through various roles, including as a New Technologist intern at Microsoft, where they contributed to the development of a socially-driven reading platform. Dave’s experience spans web development, UX, and editorial direction, emphasizing empathetic design and community engagement. They are committed to equity and often reflect on their identity as a Haitian American and first-generation college student in their work. In addition to their academic pursuits, they hold multiple positions, including website manager for the Chicago Fashion Coalition and art direction intern at The Bounty: Environmental Narratives.
