Eleazar Asase

Eleazar Asase is currently a research assistant at Michigan State University, where they design and prototype hydraulic soft actuators and assist in developing hydrogel-based gripper prototypes. They previously interned as a manufacturing engineering intern at Shape Corp., where they conducted inspections and implemented Lean Manufacturing practices. Eleazar is also the founder and vision & operations lead of Nutata Network, launching initiatives to preserve Ghanaian folktales through various community programs. Their involvement at Michigan State University includes participating in the Honors College as a first-year council member and mentoring students through various outreach activities. Eleazar earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Michigan State University.
