Gregory Gedman

Senior Computational Biologist

Gregory Gedman, Ph.D., is a postdoctoral researcher currently focused on the shared molecular mechanisms in songbird and human brains related to vocal imitation. With extensive experience in big data analytics, they have held positions as Senior Computational Biologist at Colossal Biosciences and Principal Computational Biologist at Form Bio. Previously, Gedman was a Graduate Fellow at The Rockefeller University and conducted research at Duke University, where they studied genetic influences on vocal production learning in songbirds. They earned a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Duke University and have a Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience from Drew University.
